When you use our service, we process the video URLs you submit (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram). We do not download or store the actual video files. We only extract audio for transcription purposes, which is processed in real-time and not stored.

2.3 Generated Content

We store the AI-generated content (articles, LinkedIn posts, Twitter threads) in your account history so you can access it later. This data is associated with your user account and is not shared with third parties.

2.4 Payment Information

We use NOWPayments for cryptocurrency payment processing. We do not store your cryptocurrency wallet addresses or transaction details beyond what is necessary to credit your account.

3. Chrome Extension

Our Chrome extension requires the following permissions:

  • activeTab: To detect the current video URL when you click the extension
  • storage: To store your preferences locally
  • cookies: To maintain your login session across the extension and website
  • host_permissions: To communicate with video2post.xyz API and supported video platforms

The extension only activates on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram pages. It does not track your browsing history or collect any data from other websites.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Supabase: Authentication and database (PostgreSQL)
  • OpenAI: AI content generation (GPT-4o) and audio transcription (Whisper)
  • NOWPayments: Cryptocurrency payment processing
  • RapidAPI: Video audio extraction for transcription
  • Google Analytics: Anonymous website usage statistics
  • Render: Web hosting

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

  • All data transmission is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS
  • Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text
  • Database access is protected by Row Level Security (RLS)
  • API keys and secrets are stored securely as environment variables

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data and generated content history for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.
